Lilo & Stitch movie review! Jackie and Danielle are excited to surf right into their first Disney animated flick with the 2002 movie Lilo & Stitch. Just in time for Stitch Day on June 26th, these BFFs dig deep into one of Jackie's Y2K favorites. Lilo & Stitch is a story of sisterhood, friendship, and what it means to define your own family. The movie follows a young girl's close encounter with the galaxy's most wanted alien experiment 626 AKA Stitch. Lilo is a lonely six-year-old Hawaiian girl who adopts a small ugly "dog," whom she names Stitch. Stitch would be the perfect pet if he weren't in reality a genetic experiment who has escaped from an alien planet and crash-landed onto earth. With his creator close behind to capture him, Stitch must go undercover and live with Lilo and her sister Nani. What he doesn't know yet is that he's on a crash course with finding his very own family. The movie features the voice talents of Tia Carrere, Ving Rhames, Kevin McDonald, Daveigh Chase, and Chris Sanders as the voice of Stitch and the film's director.
